Some of my memories of the 80s
Riding my big wheels down the stairs
Going to preschool
Going to kindergarten
Some kid pooping his pants at kindergarten
Feeding pigeons at the park and having them land on me
playing pac-man at this resturant/bar place
playing with one of my toy cars in the mall with my grandpa and having it go under the closed gate of a shoe store and the guy bringing it back to me

"it was the dawning of a new decade
we bought our first microwave
Dad broke down and finaly shaved
his sideburns off
I took the stickers off of my rubix cube
watched MTV all afternoon
my first love was Daisy Duke
In them cut-off jeans
Space shuttle fell out of the sky...
And the world cried......
It was 1980-sumthin'
In the world that I grew up in
Skatin' rinks and black Trans Ams
Big hair and parachute pants
Lookin' back now I can see me
Oh man did I look cheesy......
But I wouldn't trade those days for nothing
Oh, it was 1980 somthing............

My biggest memory of the eighties would probably be Kindergarten(1987). Some kid stuck a paperclip in the ground socket during naptime. Shot sparks across the floor. The same day, he stapled his finger to some paper. |
