Afaik most rollbars are after market accesories, except on high end roadsters like the Shelby Cobra and Audi TT. If I were to get into a serious front-end accident I'd much rather have a roof above my head than be flung 40 feet onto the pavement or a tree with my body carrying all the momentum my car was. |

#21, That's why there are airbags. But yes, alot fo higher end cars have rollbars. |

#22, Well say I was driving my Mustang Cobra SVT convertible down a slippery road and I lost control and crashed into a guardrail landing on a hill with a steep grade and still rolling at a high rate of speed until my front end came in contact with a large rock, now say the clip on my harness broke and if all conditions were right chances are I'd be tossed out of the seat like a rag doll |
