#20, No, no. You didn't insult me at all. Your English is really quite good, It's just the type of car guy you just described... old-fashioned, biased fanboy type who like to tell people to STFU. Contrary to popular opinion there really aren't many people like that left on this site.

#21, Well, let my try to find better words:
I recognized there are people here who like cars that are cool. Cool for whatever reason. TheĆ½ may be loud and fast and have 8 big bore cylinders, they may be (like your MR2) loud and fast with 4 highspeed cylinders. Whatever makes these vehicles cool, be it caterpillar, shool bus, army flatbed... french delivery truck, I can see the point. where I live however, the Smart has not exactly the reputation of being cool. It is driven mostly as a fleet car for social care services making home vists to elderly people (and similar) or by spoiled brats with too whealthy parents, who go for the cute factor.

#24, I understand completely, it's not about the cylinder count or the 0-60 time or anything else so superficial, it's about the cars. And thanks for the compliment, although it sounds faster than it actually is :D I also understand that the Smart isn't really all that cool in it's home market, but over here it's got that exotic feel to it that makes anything cool... just as the German guy who collects J body Buicks can attest to. |

I'd rather ride a small cc bike then one of these if I lived in a city. I'm too stuck on having power when I hit the gas to lower myself to something like this |

#29, No!!! My beloved, pointless thread. For the sake of keeping it alive, I'll say it looks like a stretched Chevy Suburban. |

$45,000 for a Smart? LMAO!
Why not just save about $44,000 and buy a golf cart? Or for a little more money, weld two motor scooters together. |
