Interior is really cool, if a bit contrived. The exterior is PAINFULLY fucking bland and soap-barish, though. Why can't America get the hatch? Seriously, I don't see the point of a small car without one.

#2, I just don't understand what happened to clean, original design. Seems like nowadays everything is either trying way to hard to be different, incredibly bland or retro garbage.

#4, True, they probably said that in the 80s with the new fandangled flip-up headlights and and pointy front ends too :P
This thing is ugly as shit, the interior is awesome, but the whole car itself is horrible, those headlights look retarded.

Big improvement -- I like it a lot. We're going to have to replace our 5 year old Focus soon and the new Civic just went on the list of candidates.
