Description:
Well, there's now a Honda in the family.

My sister, in her search for a 2 or 3 year old Toyota Camry, found out that Toyota dealers are asses (...and non-Toyota dealers selling used Toyotas are equally as bad). She went to a Honda dealership as a last resort, and the salesman made her a wonderful deal on a BRAND NEW 2005 Accord. She's leasing it with VERY low payments.

Silver four-door just like this, but hers is basically a base-model, but with the "Power Package", which has power everything.

I can't believe they actually gave her $500 trade-in credit for her '94 Camry... 190k miles, looked like SHIT, and the brakes weren't currently working...

...anywho, lease is good, just over $200 a month, and after three years, she'll have the option to buy it outright for $10,000. By then she'll probably be a pharmacist earning enough to afford to buy it outright. She's in her last year of school, then just one year of internship, and she'll have her PhD in Pharmacy.

#2, I dunno...I really can't think of anything on that car that was still in "ok" condition... the whole car was falling apart.

We're a Toyota family. My Grandparents used to have a Civic, though.

nissan family here

can you lease a one year-old accord? the payments would be so much cheaper if you didn't have to pay for depreciation

Well, now, my mom is considering leasing a car... she's just about had it with her Tracker's horrid fuel economy and weak A/C... she said that she wants either a Toyota or a Honda, but something small, and preferrably tall... at first I was thinking maybe a Toyota RAV4, Matrix or Honda CRV, but then it hit me...why not a Scion xA? It's basically a Toyota, and is the smallest tall car I can think of... and I always kinda liked the way the xA looks...

It's probably all just talk right now, wishful thinking.

#13, Good GOD no. I think my mom actually scoffed at one that she saw on the street a while ago. The xA is MUCH nicer looking :D

I've seen, and ridden in, her new car now... it's WONDERFUL...

...and my mom's Tracker's radio just died. She's getting ever closer to getting another car...

#16, The CD player in my Mom's Corolla hasn't worked in a while and the tape player is dying too. And she's only had the car for 2 years and 9 months.

mom n' dad - '99 Olds Aurora, '04 Trailblazer
brother '02 - Corolla
oldest brother (who I never see) '06 - Durango with Hemi, his wife has a newer (but last gen) Mustang GT convertible

my dad wants to get rid of the Aurora to buy a Lexus SUV... but who knows.. he wants another 4WD/AWD car since where he lives is down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere
