#2, yeah, it's mine. With my area being filled with pickup truck loving rednecks who think my car is rice, I wanted to see what other people thought. |

#6, not digging that valence at all. The Erebuni front lip sticks out way to much and doesn't flow with the lines at all. My lip has the right curves in it to blend the fender arches into the lip. I think that Erebuni lip is fiberglass too, and that would break withen a week. My lip is ABS plastic and has taken a beating. Another typical thing with VW is to replace parts with OEM parts. My ugly front lip is OEM. Also, my rear valence, taillights, aluminum pedals (from an Audi TT and VW owns Audi), aluminum shift knob, wheels (Audi TT wheels), and the side skirts that are coming are all OEM. Can't go wrong with OEM |

#10, yeah, and caractere cost a lot more than what i have. And with the direction I am taking my car, it wouldn't work. I need some better wheels and more extreme body work to compliment the caractere kit. The middle grill section of my front lip is actually functional. My radiator is right behind there. The STOCK front valence even had this grill. The ducts on the side are purly for looks. A simular lip is made for the Golf/GTI and does not have these ducts, but the Jetta needs them because the front end is more squared off and the ducts make the lip more squared off. This lip is made by VW, sold on the Jetta GLI, I hardly can see how it is ricey at all, it's not trying to be anything that its not. TUV approved too. I think Caractere is too, but I really doubt Erebuni is. I would never buy a non TUV body kit. TUV demands high quality and they are wind tunnel tested to not harm the car's arodynamics like the ricer kits do. |

#13, I hate rice. But I can appreciate a well done Honda or any other japanese cars. If someone put effort into their car and did it right and with some taste, even if it is different than my taste, they are all right in my book. However, any car tuned by Pep Boys and is poorly done and the driver just goes out trying to race everyone, yeah, I hate on them. We had a VW gtg for about a year on a weekly basis. Hondas came in trying to race everyone, they were loud and doing burnouts and trashed the parking lot and we got kicked out. |
