#21, Actually, no on that either...and we all are pretty much aware of all the reasons why...

I still say we build a whole shitload of nuke plants, then next to them build a whole shitload of hydrogen-producing plants (producing pure useable hydrogen is quite energy-consuming), then switch to all hydrogen-fuel cell vehicles, heating, energy, etc... we'll still need fossil fuels for plastics and the like, but not really all that much.

#24, Well, I guess we'll still have regular fossil fuel gasoline for people who want to retain pieces of the past... but the price will continue to skyrocket thanks to asshole fuel companies that are reaping record profits while Dubya doesn't want to do a damn thing about it.

I used to be a conservative right-winger, but God dammit, Dubya pisses me off WAAAAY too much. He actually makes me miss Clinton o_0

#26, Bio-fuel is an interesting alternative to look into... right now it's hella-expensive, but if it can be made more efficiently, it'll be great for the consumer, and great for the farmer that will have a whole new market for their crops.
