Description:
I saw the original of this and thought it was dying to get some color. I kept the mods to a minimum. RRB & Biohazard suggested the color.

I rarely ever saw these things stock, so I assumed that, Like the Ford Willys, they were hard to find unmolested. Until of course, I found this totally awesome website...

#5, Uh, it was NOT the "Ford Willys"... it was the Willys Americar. Ford didn't own them. In fact, they were bought up by Kaiser, which then was bought up by AMC, which then was bought up by Chrysler. All because of the Jeep brand.

#7, Well, they didn't buy up Chrysler only because of the Jeep brand like the previous acquisitions.

Ford made a 3-window coupe named the Willys didn't they? I wasn't talking about the Jeep Willys, I knew Kaiser owned that.

#11, No they absolutely did not. The "Ford" listed in that article is an aftermarket Ford product bolted ONTO a Willys Americar. Those Ford 9" rear ends are quite popular actually... IIRC, that's what all cars in NASCAR use.
