You know, I can't imagine why, but this looks incredibly fake to me. |

I hope it's a replica body on a tube chassis, and not an original that's been butchered. |

This car is from my home town of Vancouver British columbia, I see it at the race track all the time. Its a 1958 corvette and everything on it serves a purpose. It runs a 7 second 1/4 mile time which makes it one of the fastest street legal cars in the world ( Yes, its street legal ) There is nothing rice about this car ! |

This is sweet! I'ld love to drive this thing to work. however, someone might back their peeling Civic into it, so maybe not. it's a pretyy car either way. |

#13, Looks like a '56 or a '57 to me. '58s had quad headlights.
I've seen pics of this car in action, and it launches HARD. |

How come ? with those tires and ram air, how can you see a thing on the street? and if it's really a 1800+ hp car, it must be impossible to drive decently |

#18, It doesn't have to be practical to be legal.
And it wouldn't be impossible to drive on the street, either. It's virtually guaranteed to have a flat torque curve, which makes it predictable. No sudden surges in power, as with small, boosted engines. |
