I suspect that my V6mobile is significantly lighter. Vastly less powerful in its current trim, yes, but lighter.

I need to weigh the V6 car sometime. I know that it is probably a little heavier than its original curb weight since it now has dual (side exit! :p ) exhaust, a lot of suspension changes, and some chassis bracing. I doubt the engine swap had significant impact since it's mainly just a different rotating assembly.

#15, Well, a 2001 Mustang GT weighs about 3100 pounds stock, I don't know how much extra weight four tenths of a Litre adds though...

Not like it makes a difference with the extra weight those suspension mods may have added...

#17, Actually, the iron-block modulars have significantly larger external dimensions than the old pushrod engines (especially the 3.8) and thus tend to weigh a bit more. I'm pretty confident that I'm still below the weight of a stock GT, and it's better distributed.
