It looks a little better, I mean it's bulky as hell so I guess a lift wouldn't hurt looks wise. |

I look at the Ridgeline, and think someone at Honda went "Hey! Toyota and Nissan have something we don't! We better slap something together at the very last minute, no matter how retarded it looks, call it a truck, and sell it to unsuspecting people who'll buy it just for the Honda nameplate!" |

It's ugly as sin, but afaik it's a quality truck, I can find nary a bad review of it be it from an unbiased regular driver or car critic. I wouldn't technically even call it a truck, it's more of an SUV with a bed than anything (It only comes with 4 doors and 4WD). But a good truck is a good truck I guess. Even though people only think it's so great because it's so safe and versatile.

#4, Well at a base price in the mid $20K range you're typical ricer probably won't bother with it. And I don't think that these would have any appeal at all to that kind of crowd, but I've seen odd choices like Volvos and Honda minivans modded extensively so it's only a matter of time. But these thing aren't really selling at all, like I said they're just not popular enough...

I was reading a site with random facts, and I learned that about 75% of our Hondas were actually made in America |

#6, same with Mitsubishis, Nissans, and Toyotas. Almost all Dodge trucks are made in Mexicanland. |

#6, But for how long? The Japs aren't going to build in the US if there is cheaper ununionized labour elsewhere. All building in the US does is make the PR team say "We're American!"

#3, honda may build a reliable truck, but it looks like they just ripped off the design of the Chevy Avalanche. |

#9, In a way they did, by offering a unibody construction they could offer more versatility, such as a bed that opened into the cab compartment, a more rigid frame and more cargo space. It's not selling very well but I guess they just figured they'd rather have a safe vehicle that didn't sell than some slapped together death wagon that sold in millions and forced recalls. |
