Believe it or not, this thing traces its roots back to the mid '90s Honda Civic.

Tiff Needell called it the best handling FWD car he ever drove, and Jeremy Clarkson simply labelled it, "bloody good"

The Honda Civic was modified into the Honda Domani. (The Domani was rebadged as the 1st gen Acura EL)
The Domani was modified into the Rover 45.
The Rover 45 was modified into the ZS.
