Description:
The silver Z06 ran 39s and 40s like the black one, but the new Z06 blew the engine. That's what happens when you give a 19 yr old his dad's car for a weekend.

How the fuck can you blow up a performance tuned iron V8??? I mean, I know how, but such blatant disregard for mechanics and sheer stupidity boils my brain.

#2, yep. That's probably what did it. He was pretty much holding the engine to redline and waiting about 15 sec to shift.

#3, How the fuck can you be so stupid... even cut-off didn't save the engine so he really had to try hard.

#8, Wow. Now you just need to move the cams where they should be... or has this already been taken care of?

#9, if you mean OHC then no. ford has moved their V8s to OHC with mixed results. and the OHV setup is smaller if not lighter. the smaller height allows for the lower hood.

#10, I guess if you made an all-aluminium, DOHC/quad cam V8 you could muster more than 40hp from a litre *runs*

#13, 40 hp/l x 7 liters = 280 hp. This has 505 hp.
