#15, You can if the car was in production with Daewoo first. that's kinda how it works. and the reason they only share one car now is because for the last 5 years of its existence, geo was failing miserably, so GM changed it to chevy in 2000, which still didn't work, and they axed the prizm in '02, and the tracker in '04. |

#21, Legally - GM does own the old Daewoo platforms and could claim them as their own now - but nobody thinks that way.
But any forthcoming GMDAT platforms - such as the T250 and Tosca - is their property. |

Other countries don't have the room for big cars. The market just isn't there. Also, Daewoo isn't a respected name but Chevy still is. Perfect marketing strategy to me. |
