Nice Fiero I saw today, and part of an 86-88 Escort GT, I believe.

So...some people actually bought these cars as Fieros, as opposed to tacky Ferrari/Lambo kitcar bases. Hmm...I learn more each day.

#2, Amazingly - it's true.

Yet those rims suck and I belive I see a "hood scoop".

I AM OUTRAGED!

An aftermarket hoodscoop for an otherwise stock, low-powered MID engined car... BRILLIANT!

BTW, I've figured out that this is probably an 85 Fiero GT. I believe the GT was new for 85, and the 86+ had fastback styling.

I wouldn't mind having a decent Fiero, just not this one.

I almost bought a red '84 for my first car, but I didn't want my first car to have a manual transmission. I'm really glad I went for the Camaro instead.

#9, You mean one of those fastback ones? The second gen was never produced, except for 1 prototype.

Was the fastback model not produced from 1986 through 1988?

#7, E: t'is either an 85 or early 86 (can't see the CHMSL) The Escort is just a base with a wing, BTW.
