Description:
Am I the only person bothered by the similarity between the rear ends of the new Charger and Galant?

Yeah, there's more than a passing resemblance... I've confused the two from a distance too... all in all though, it is a damn nice rear-end design, IMO...

Recipe for a new Dodge Charger:

Take the front end of a '62 Chrysler. Pull off all the chrome and put in a Dodge Ram grille.
Take the quarter panels from a Tucker Torpedo.
Take the rear end from a Mitsubishi Galant
Stir it all together.
Serve cold, with a hot Hemi for garnish.

#4, It's sort of a semi-Hemi.

The Galant is so much smaller I hadn't really even noticed a similarity with Dodge's rear end. Then again these are two cars I really don't pay much mind to when I do see them.
