#5, They hired some guy that got to be known by designing nice if a bit extravagant looking cars (Fiat Coupe for example). Then something happened (Parkinson probably) and he started churning out those monstrosities. I think. I may've mixed something up.

#7, Well, the world is nearing its end. One of the signs I guess. Others include Alfa Romeos that aren't red but are diesel wagons, Porsche building an SUV and Germans buying Lamborghini.
