I actually would like to see someone do that for the hell of it.

Just like how I want to see someone jam a NASCAR V8 powertrain and RWD in an as-stock-looking-as-possible-on-the-outside beige Camry LE. No, I'm not dumb enough to think it would bolt right in.

From what I remember in old Car & Tracks, and early Motorweeks, Mitsubishi Colts, whether under their own branding or as Mopar captive imports, were actually fairly well received, compared to other imported compacts.
