#54, Like me being kinda like a pillar of the CVQ (Club Volvo Québec). It was established last september after much talk about forming a Volvo club in Québec. I was like the 5th member to join and I'm the top poster in about 110 members (a few members are from France). I feel great when I get to decide on the something regarding meetings or the forums. |

#60, Too bad people step on you at times... and once, a guy in the second line of the 'enemies' used his Danish axe (basically a big two-hand axe) in a peculiar but historically accurate way. While the first line covered him with a shield wall, he wanted to use the axe as a hook and to throw me to the ground. When he tried to hook my leg up he bumped me in the balls with the axe head... hard >_< (hint: short chainmails are useless in combat, they're only good if you're a death metal fan: this one wasn't finished yet and this is why it was short) and then he simply pulled the leg from under me (ouch) and I sprawled on the ground (ouch) kinda violently... actually it was almost a salto so when I connected with the ground the angle was a bit weird (ouch-ouch). |

I'd never do it to a stock exhaust but I guess I like it the way it is (save to the look: reminds me of potato cannon mufflers a bit). My family always had Italian cars are they sound wonderfully, I hated the diesel-ish fart-ish sound of the old Frog.
Now it makes a vrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAWWWWRRRR *lifts the gas* OOORRRRR*silent pop*RRRRRRRRRRR*silent pop*RRrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound :P
Not quite the opera singer quality of the Tipo (man... this thing SINGS) but the raspiness is OK for a semi-rally car I guess.
Can't decide if I should leave it when it goes bust or replace it with a stock muffler. |

#69, Nah, I don't want it to be too loud.
At least not until I punch it :P |

Turns out the rust in the back of the body is pretty bad, rocker panels are bondo and the floor isn't pretty either. I don't know if it can be saved or if it makes sense, financially. Right now I have stiff shocks, better driver's seat and I recently bought wide steelies. The investment probably stops here. I guess I'll just buy a competition seat and harness, they can be swapped between cars or simply sold when the Frog dies. |
