STE. TGP was 2 door only. 1989 STE has the 3.1Turbo V6 that is in the TGP. This is essentially a 4 door McLaren, except rarer and much harder to find in MN.$1000 firm. If the truck sells soon, this may be a candidate for a new car.

#5, yes. GTP was a new for 1992, and was not supercharged at first. It had a regular 3.1 and later a 3.4. The '97+ got a supercharged 3800 Series II aka L67. The STEs have a marginal 180hp/205 ft lbs, while the STE Turbos have 205 hp/220 ft lbs.

#7, yes it does. But the 3400 has random LIM gasket probs, whereas the 3.1 doesn't tend to unless you beat on it.

#11, yep. Or bigger turbo, and a new Intercooler off a Cobalt SS or even a DSM.

#9, I would be extremely tempted to beat a 3.1L turbo V6.

#11, I wouldnt know how durable these would be to more boost... they were already pretty shitty for durability stock, dont wanna know what happens if you force a good amount of boost into it

#14, yep. I wouldn't dare turn up the boost on a stock much less 17 year old 3.1.

#18, hmmmm. L67 Cavalier maybe. I have thought about a L67 Cavvy before. Sounds quite fun. I also would like the idea of putting an L67 into a GPSE 4 dr without the GT aero package.

#19, it's been done before. Too bad the only examples I've seen in person are riced. :(
