#3, Well, they're got the new 3.5L Cyclone V6 that pushed around 265 horses and about 250 tq. It's actually a decent fairly high compression engine and you can add direct injection and a variable length intake manifold and squeeze out as much as 300hp. It's still on the D3 platform which means it'll still weight roughly around 3600 lbs and it's still an FF layout. But they've got the fancy-shmansy 6F transaxle which is tailored more to high powered transverse powerplants. I can't say these new number would dramaticaly enhance the performance of the 500/Taurus but to answer your question: Kinda.

#9, In regards to that vehicular reference... I'm kinda on a the fence about Joel... I mean, he totaled a 2CV... but on the other hand, HE WAS DRIVING A 2CV. I don't know whether to hate him or have complete respect for him, respectively.
