#4, here here. I couldnt care less about its weight. Its still a very nice car with decent handling and a powerplant that makes your right foot happy. |

#4, Being like an old school muscle car would be fine...if it was an old school muscle car. |

#9, Thank you Jeremy Clarkson... I'm quite happy with it as it is. No need to nitpick on a car that nice. |

The Super Snake package is rumored to produce in excess of 700 horsepower and boast a buttload of new suspension goodies including strut tower bracing, adjustable shocks and stabilizer bars so it's a good bet it'll the curves a good deal more effectively than the standalone GT500. But looking at those wheels makes me wary. They appear to be about 19-20 inches in diameter, which means that they'll not only be heavier, but have less sidewall and be generally clunkier coupled with the Snake's lowered stance. There's also the fact that the power adder(s?) will make the fairly big heavy engine even more girthy. But I'm going to reserve judgement until I can see more info.
And I've got a question for Shelby, why does this exist when there's already GT500KR? Wasn't that supposed to be the next special edition Stang to shut the detractors up? |
