#3, Hah, well, actually I was wondering, because I remember the +-2000 Jettas/Golfs were made in Mexico and had huge premature paint/rust problems.

Haha, I just did some impromptu rust repair on my granma's 2000 Taurus, it was in the exact same spot and I saw some signs of cancer :(
but she did pay me handsomely for my efforts :)
