#19, i see your logic, but with cars getting bigger and bigger (300C, charger, just to name a few) 20s don't look near as giant. |

#22, The 300 and Charger are exceptions.. I agree that 20's don't look that big on them.
But 17's on compacts can work easily. |

#18, I was gonna argue, but realised thats not a bad thing. But yeah, my main issue(s) with the car aren't really related to the size of the wheels. Its the ride height and the shit wheel design |

#25, Cars are most definitely getting bigger. Was reading somewhere how the latest Corolla has dimensions equal to, of not greater than the late 80's Camry... |

#26, a 300C is no bigger than my dads impala ss. but 20's would look dumb on the ss. but on the 300C they fit. |

Depends on the classification of car. Full-size cars are smaller now (No sedan today is as big as say, a 1972 Olds Delta 88, and that wasn't even the biggest Oldsmobile that year), but compacts and mid-size cars seem to be growing.
Automakers are complaining about new fuel economy standards, but they'd have no trouble at all meeting them if they'd just make their damn cars smaller and lighter. They wouldn't really even have to downsize the engines or power levels, in most cases. |
