That's basically my hometown team (I live in northeast FL, but go to college in central FL). What really annoys me was that Jacksonville pretty much had to decide whether it wanted a Mercedes plant or a football team (it would've had to spend money as an incentive to get Daimler-Benz to go to Jacksonville). Guess what they chose to do? Guess which I would have preferred instead?

Actually, I think the mayor and city council made that decision. But yes, we have some pretty dumb people here.

I prefer to think that we import our idiots. We get a LOT of retired Northerners, plus bewildered tourists. Our highways are F-U-N. Mostly the F-U part, though.

hehe, my family goes to florida for vacation once a year or so, my parents would definitely be another annoyance to you natives, I feel for you
