Yeah, put that between the lyrics, with a simple drum beat backing the lyrics up.

That would make all the difference, and make it catchier. Of course, some groups get by without chorus. Look at Stone Temple Pilots...but that's their biggest flaw, their songs are impossible to remember.

something caught my eye

a moniker I thought long gone
Yet is wasn't half as lame
As the '85 on my neighbor's lawn
