Which syllables? Perhaps I could re-work them.

it depends on how you want to do the vocal/guitar interplay. I'm just synchronizing them, for simplicity. Like Red, wait, green, with one particular section of the riff, the one I'll track to it, is 2 syllables short, so I added 2 ands. it works either way. I havent' really done the whole song, I'm busy tracking off the relevant portions of the song so I can mix it tomorrow.

Oh, okay. Did you just post the entire song, or are you planning some more lyrics?

I think it's long enough. The way I'm looking at it, the verses will be with the riffs from layla, but I have to write something for the chorus. Then I have to edit everything together, actually record my horrid screeching voice, and I suppose I'll just work up a drum series in frooty loops. depending on how late I work on it tonight, I should have it done tomorrow.

Are you going to end with "extra-sensory", or are you going to do a reprise of the chorus?

Headlights and Greenlights
it's Saturday night
Dark out, the world's asleep
But I'll keep burnin' till the morning light.

Just out of habit, I'll probably have a solo, and then the chorus, and the fade. Probably a bass solo, since it's easier to record.

Bitchin'. Late as all hell, and I'm getting a bit tired, so I bid you good morrow.

Tired now, and off to bed
And give my computer some rest
I'll have some wicked dreams in my head
About all-night dragging fests.

Hemis, Detriot lockers, and Muncie transmissions
And other such awesome devices
And laughing at RiceorNot submissions
Especially the off-topics and the rices

But I'll see you all at the break of dawn
Mainly because I have no life
For the car enthusiast loves cars alone
No wonder I don't have a wife.

haha, g'night.

Trooper...you (or someone else who has more time) should compile a "music to kill rice by" set of songs. Maybe call it "Rice Burner: The Soundtrack" and post a link to download it so we can burn it onto a cd....stupid idea? Probably. But I like the idea!

I like that idea, as well. Music to play while you're educating ricers in the ways of horsepower....

they don't need an education on horsepower, they need an education on TORQUE.

How about both? The riciest of the ricey have neither.
