Description:
"Let's say you've got a current generation Ford Mustang GT that doesn't get you excited any more and a couple grand taking up space under your mattress. Roush Performance can solve both of your problems with the addition of a new supercharger dubbed the TVS2300 ROUSHcharger. For around $5000, Roush will provide you a kit of parts which, when properly assembled and tuned, develop more than 700 HP."

#20, In the case of the Prius, you've got to worry about smug pollution.

#21, ...not just smug pollution, but the fact that the factory that process the nickel for the massive battery packs has effecitvely destroyed its surrounding environment, and those battery packs, when they become useless in a decade, are almost on the same toxic level as industrial waste.

#22, Not to mention the Prius is presumably the first car in history designed to appeal to people who hate cars.

The Corolla was one really long-lived practice run. It took hybrid technology for them to perfect the art.

I can't wait for the Chevy Volt to come out, and then for Toyota to reverse engineer it and make a better more efficient model.

#32, Replace "torque converter" with "paddle shifters" and "hubcaps" with "any kind of sports, especially the Olympics" and I'm right there with you.

#34, I'm there with you too on the first count.

#36, I know - I was just refering to them in the context of soulless commuter cars, specifically those made by a certain Japanese make with a logo that looks like a inter-uteran birth control device crossed with a space cowboy line drawing.

Lots of FWD cars and cars with torque converters I like, though rarely combined in one car.
