no. this is really a S-10. he just bought a lot of taurus body panels to place over the truck's body.

Okay, I've got it, he's got a Ford Taurus, converted to RWD, powered by a 5.0 'Stang motor and the rear axle from an S-10!

I *almost* understand the 5.0 badge....this guy is just a Ford fan trying to pretend that his Taurus is a certain sportier Ford car. But that Chevy emblem and S10 badge totally throws me off....
