I'm fine with the ban, Trooper. He was a major prick to you and Low-Tech for no apparent reason. Also, I personally was getting sick of him posting his "books" off of the GM sites all of the time and wasting your bandwidth.

#31, Me too. I know I've posted a lot of off-topic pics to give a laugh or two, but I would never post some of the tasteless things I've seen on here like making fun of the WTC tragedy, promoting drugs, or disgusting pics that are borderline pornography. This is a car site first and that should be remembered and not abused. Some people also don't remember this is just the internet...the curse, argue, insult, and get offended way too easily. We can have fun debates, but keep it at that. Personal attacks aren't neccessary. Even with my pic #10000 for example, I was trying to post a NICE car for once on the x000 milestones (look back at the crap posted before) and all people do is whine about the photograph's quality (I don't think it's bad, it's a nice CAR anyways). Anyways....

Really, the best way to deal with somebody who keeps doing off-topic posts would be to pull what #34 suggested. When they start making moronic comments to draw attention to the pic (and nobody else has commented yet) just IGNORE IT. Please note that I've only commented on no1camaro's offtopic posts a couple times, mostly when he was posting that barely-safe-for-work stuff (which was REALLY getting on my nerves).

I think the ban of no1camaro was entirely uncalled for. If you don't find his posts interesting, then don't comment on them. Someone might find them interesting. I personally think this one is kind of funny, because I hate NIKE. And to get banned for so much as criticizing the webmaster for flaming his own posts, that was also uncalled for. No1camaro was a prick sometimes, but he posted some good pictures and has been on the site from day one.
Just my 2 cents, not like it'll do any good.
