Description:
SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW...Hey Mopar fans, notice the old school T/A paintjob
on this? It has the power too, it runs under 12 in the 1/4 with a Mopar Performance
engine that gives out 350 BASE hp, plus a lot of other mods. No wing, no clear tails, no
RICE. The ULTIMATE RICE KILLER. |

Mike!!!!!!!!!! He and I have been looking for that copy!!!!! I will buy it from you. Email me at mr_mcmunkee@yahoo.com and we'll work it out. I'll send you a check. Yeah, he had the Viper-style hood on it then I believe...and the tweed interior, look at it. We put it in my car with yellow vents and it looked sweeeeeeeeet. He wanted to go back to the plastic interior for when he had to do cutting for his rollcage. ANYWAYS....EMAIL ME! |

That body kit is ugly IMHO, and you're never going to convince me he put it on to reduce weight if he added a set of side skirts over the existing rocker panels. If he'd been doing that just for weight reduction, I could understand a fiberglass front bumper, but not the side skirts. Still, I've got to respect the performance. And using a '70s paint scheme on a new car and vintage wheels is at least pretty creative. But still, I think the guy who built a Panther Pink Sundance with AAR stripes managed to pull off the look a lot better. |

I like the wheels too, the fastest way to ruin a car nowadays is to get some really gawd-awfull rims for em' I'll paint the steelies on my car pink before I buy 90% of the custom rims out there

I like the classic touches, but I don't think it should be done to a Neon. Not that there's anything wrong with a Neon, they make awesome little performance cars when they're done up right. But they do things differently from the old Mopars, and they really can't be compared side by side. |

Couple minor issues from waaaaay back up the thread. First, the Six Pack referred to the carburetors (3 x 2 bbl) not the cylinders... the 6-Packs were on V-8s. Secondly, the car this paint scheme was originally on was a Dodge Challenger (the Dodge version of the more-famous Plymouth Barracuda) not the Charger. |
