I'm pretty sure they came from the factory with duel exaust so not completely excessive.I mean if it's a turbo model than I'd get a 3inch exaust system to maximize the turbo system.

2nd gen RX-7's came factory with dual exhaust, although I don't see the need for it on a rotor.

Actually, these cars can get 50hp gains by changing the exhaust system just 'cause the stock dual exhaust was really shitty.

I'm gonna have to agree with munkee. There is no way you get 50hp gain just by an exhaust. Even if it is turbo. Not 50.
