I really do not like the shape of the convertible version, but this hardtop isn't bad. The front needs to be re-worked a little, in my opinion, and the taillamps are terrible (judging by the other pictures I've seen), but it's not as bad as I'd thought.
But these things had better not be overweight behemoths like the new DEW-based Thunderbird (~3800LB!) That's just not what the Mustang is supposed to be.

The Coupe is sweet as hell, the Convertible is awful and wrong.

I love the Coupe too...I'm not sure about the convertible, I'll have to see one in person to decide. It probably looks dumb with the top up (like MOST convertibles).

The convertible looks pretty mis-proportioned to me (just from the photos we've seen so far). This styling doesn't work very well on it. The coupe looks alright because of the classic roofline, though I still think the front and rear fascias could afford to be improved somewhat.
