#2, The valves run parallel to the cylinders, and feed the combustion chamber through passages that are "L" shaped when viewed from the side |

#3, That sounds like a helluva bottleneck. No wonder these engines didn't make much power. |

#4, I think this one is good for 85 HP, but theyr'e popular among hot rodders, who use lightweight stripped-down coupe chassis |

#7, I know one of the bit advantages was it was the first V8 that used a single casting to make the block, chevy V8's at the time were 3 parts or more, bolted together |

#10 - someone ran a very modified flat-8 running a vortech supercharger, etc. Got 800-1000hp out of it???? Fastest run for a flathead on Bonny. |
