#99, Oh great, so now you're helping him plan the DSM of Doom? :-) |

There's only a couple major things. For one, get a Fluidyne radiator and some flex-a-lite fans. You start making silly horsepower, and that temperature gauge will end up in the cooked-meat zone real quick. |

#103, Well, I haven't decided when I am going to be done. Current goal is in the 12's, which HOPEFULLY will be within the next few months. After that I'm going to decide whether I am satisfied with it or not. |

#105, Geez; I'd be happy to have a car that runs faster than 15's. :-) |

Also, I hope the exhaust is a 3-inch, because if it's not, it's going to have to go. For basic streetability, a 2.5" downpipe and cat combined with a 3" exhaust works pretty well, but when building a DSM of Doom, one phrase must be ever-present in your mind. That phrase is, "BACKPRESSURE IS THE DEVIL."
Get it tattooed on you or something. On a 16g, a full 3" exhaust is not at all needed, but get a 20g, a T3/T4, or anything of a proper size, and you'll need lots of flow room. I admit I'm not familiar with the intake manifold on your engine, if it's not the stock Talon one, but since it's a 4G63 intake manifold, you'll probably want to get a new one, something shiny and aluminum designed to help with the high-RPM breathing. Proper camshafts are worth about 15hp. Get rid of the balance shafts, they just froth the oil, and besides, we don't need a smooth idle, do we? Get an Injen intake, it's pretty much the best value, unless your turbo is in some strange non-stock spot. |

With about 16-18psi and some good traction (A pair of drag radials is a good investment here) you should be in the mid to low 13s as it is. You'll cook your clutch real quick like that, though. |

Oh, and get a limited-slip if you don't already have one. Quaife, KAAZ, or any of those companies. It's a pain in the ass to install, but it's worth it. |

#111, I ran a Road/Race Engineering Frankenstein Stage 2, which is basically a Mitsubishi TD0-6 centersection (clipped 10 degrees inside a Lancer exhaust housing) with a 20G compressor housing, and a Garrett 46 trim compressor wheel, and was able to get about 460hp to the wheels with it. When they say "race only" they mean it, that thing would make so much lag and boost that it probably wouldn't work under 5000 RPM, and you'd need C16 gas, so I wouldn't get it, myself. |

A good value would be a Garret T3/T4 hooked up to a Speed Designs exhaust manifold. |

Actually don't disregard the bit about LSDs, get a front one and a center one. Then you will have insane traction. |

Hey CRXtrackguy, I've got a couple questions for you. After I get my 3in' turbo back, I want to get the T-28 turbo. Now I was thinking, should I get a FMIC or a nice SMIC that Dejontool's sells. My goal with this turbo is to be in the low 13's, high 12's and keep the car daily driveable.
Oh ya, and one more thing. I am getting my exhaust from RnR and for $590 I can get the 3in' turbo back exhaust. However, for $725 I can get the same exhaust with an O2 eliminator downpipe. Would it be worth the extra money to get the O2 eliminator?

geez oh petes - that's a lot of money for exhaust. I can get a full dual 3" exhaust mandrel bent for $380. And the headers I bought only cost $110. (this is for my monte). |
