Nice car. Interesting wheels--are they black, or is it just the light? |

#1 - They're "black chrome". They came with the car, and I guess they kind of match but I'm planning on auctioning them and getting some polished aluminum ones.
#3 - It's a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. |

This car brings up bad memories of my wife's 91 mitsu gsx. The car was done at 70K mles. It stranded me on the freeway in a bad part of town. overheated and needed a new radiator, water pump. thermostat, and fan switch! And the turbo was inconsistant, always dumping when I needed it most- crossing three lanes of traffic. And it burned oil lie it was gasoline. Never again will I buy a Mitsu. |

I had a friend in college who had this generation of an Eclipse, and she had NONSTOP problems with it. It was constantly in the shop. That turned me off to Mitsu's big time. |

#7 - the eclipse motors were unreliable, I totally agree. Any DSM enthusiast will tell you it's a constant love/hate relationship. They require a lot of attention. But they're easy to work on, and fun to play with. |

I just can't see myself loving, let alone keeping a car like that. It's not like they're incredible looking and worth the trouble. |

#13, I dunno, why do people keep anything? Stuff can grow on one and then you become attached, would you EVER give up your dream Mustang even IF it gave you problems? |

#14, It's only minor stuff, only once or twice is it so bad the car is out of commission for a couple of days. Overall the car has been reliable. |

Well, I'm going to be restoring it, so if it gives me problems, that means I'm not finished having fun building it. If my daily driver, the car I rely on, gives me trouble...it's getting traded in, no matter how much I like it. I put a lot of time and work into my Neon, but I didn't hesitate to trade it in after the mileage got really high. I had already rebuilt the tranny, so I wanted to avoid any further problems and money loss. |
