Description:
Tried putting my car on the wheels I want to get for it this summer, (ROH Snypers) and tinted it. I will probably drop it about 2 inches too. What do you guys think? |

#51, Civics are alright. Economical, [relatively] cheap, decent [but not good] looking. I just don't like that fact that some people think that an engine that has variable valve technology makes it a racecar, and if not that, they add snowplow/guppy bumpers, erector set park benches on the decklid, and stickers galore...ick. I would say Civics have good build-quality, but, from my experience, they DON'T. Even Car and Driver said the newest Civics they've tested have below-Korean-level quality... |

#51, No, I fit into the "prefers cars that drive from the right end" category. And, putting things in their proper context, if you had a choice between a Volvo of this age and a Civic of the same vintage, which would you choose? Reliable as Civics from that time might have been, their numbers are steadily decreasing. |

#60, Stay on topic, we're discussing Volvos vs. Civics. You started the argument, now stay and discuss it, don't be a troll and change the subject. |

#60, Yes, and "bodykit that looks like crap" always equals rice. Guess what we have a lot of pictures of Civic with?
And there have been some tasteful import cars posted on here in the past, and the majority of the regulars on here have acknowledged that they're pretty good. |

#61, They don't have good build quality from my experience either. Cheap components, plenty of squeaks and interior noises, etc. |

#66, RWD with at least a V6 or V8. It would be rather dumb to have a RWD car with a 1.6L, 90-110 HP engine. |

#68, Depends on weight. What do you think a Lotus Elise is? |

Oh yeah, and no Torque.
The Elise has a lot more than 90HP too, doesn't it? |

#72, No, it has around 120 or so. It's no powerhouse, it just happens to weigh ~1600 lbs. |

Ok...how's this setup. A 2400lb car with RWD, 90HP, about 85 ft-lbs...
Sounds pretty sluggish to me. |
