#10, I mostly said he was gay so I could do that rainbow thingy. Btw, Gay-Z pisses me off too. His old shit was cool, but his last 2 CDs blow. Most of the main-stream rap has gone way way way downhill ever since Tupac "died". At least most of the local San Fransisco Bay Area rappers are still coming through with some good shit.

Rap sucks, period. There's no originality or talent involved. All they do it turn on a casio keyboard in the background and yell stuff like "YO YO YO" and talk about "ICE AND BLINGIN' AND HOES".
I hate to say it, but it's true...anyone who can find rap music entertaining and actually listen to it for any extended period of time has a pretty low mentality. The old school stuff in the 80's actually took some effort to produce and wasn't annoying by constantly singing, sorry...rapping about how materialistic they are.

#15, What you said I can only agree with for stuff that was made in the after Tupac era. You can't deny that Tupac was a much admired and very skilled artist. Like you said, 80s stuff was pretty good. The Bay Area came out with some good stuff and still is. As for your low mentality comment, I think you are way out of line. Just for example, I like rap. I am at a University of California getting straight As. Don't go making blanket statements if you can't back them up.

You find entertainment in listening to some skinny white kid or black "pimp" rap about all of the cars they drive and how many of their sisters they've done and how?
Maybe some modern rap is not like that, but the majority is. I used to like rap to, before it became a contest to see who has the biggest, brightest rims and who smokes the most dope.
I still won't take back my statement about the low mentality if you can stand listening to this crap.

#15, One more thing; you are right. Rappers can't sing worth shit. Every new Jay-z or Ja Rule song that comes out just makes me want to kill somebody.

Third, Where did you get it that I liked modern rap? I just got through saying that I hated all new rap. Are you not even reading my post dumbass? Everything that you just stated against me I just got through stating that it is not true. I agree with you about all modern rap. But not all rap is like that. Now try actually reading this one before putting another non-educated, blind statement making post on here.
