yet also has a 5.4l engine in a space it shouldn'e be in, (at the time) specificly designed heads, special body work etc.

I look at these things the way I look at a Mopar wing car: Ugly, but I would sport one just for their rarity and performance.

#27, That's not even in the same league. The Viper has status. Rich people like to buy them (special or tuner versions even more so) to show how much money they have. This is a Mustang. It doesn't have status for rich people.

#29, If you want to go there so would be removing the air conditioning, sound deadening material and jacking the price way up just to compete instead of actual engineering.

#35, so putting a much larger engine in and still making it handle better isn't "actual engineering"?
