#58, I know that's why it's more expensive, and I simply refuse to pay more for a car that isn't that much of a jaw-dropping improvement over the one right below it.
Limited number = higher cost per unit, that's basic economics
But to me, just a limited number alone doesn't make me jump to pay more for one. Now, A Bentley or A Rolls were a genuine and pedigreed carpenter has hand-built and dash out of genuine mahogany or somthing, that'll I'll pay more for, but a Mustang, I'd rather bulid up a cheaper one to spec |

#63, as would most people, but as i said, there are rich people out there that just want to be able to slap in a rollcage and go racing, hence the market for the Rs |

#67, In which case, who cares about the price? It's not built for Bill the Blue Collar weekend racer |

#60, ok then you must hate the wing cars, cause they were about the same as the Rs in their day. they were almost twice as much as most muscle cars and i doubt the were any faster (maybe a little bit) in the 1/4 mile (which is what muscle cars were all about), so whats the difference |

#69, cause they're the top newer mustang, and if you have the cash, are far better starting points |

#72, Ok then so what's the difference between the R and the current ricers? Is it because it's a RWD V8? Maybe I should go stick a bigass wing on my car. I'm sure you guys would like it. :P |

#75, How about it was designed that way, not dreamed up by some 14 year old kid from Brooklyn? As I said, the Cobra R is an ugly car, but it's no more rice than a Charger Daytona. |
