#88, The wings on the Mopars I can stand because they *had* to have a factory equivalent of what was in NASCAR. No matter how much it worked, huge-winged production cars did not stay around.

#99, Only because people here love it just because it's a Mustang. That's just blindness. They would thrash any other car like this. That annoys me.

#97, i don't know for sure, but i would think there would be rules outlawing cars with such things, and even if they don't, its still not going to handle as well

#60, you're speaking as a cheap performance enthusiast not a car enthusiast, they are very different things.

#103, Who here really loves it? I believe the general consensus of the site is that, yes, it's an ugly and overpriced car. But it's also a rare and interesting car.

#102, umm so just cause ford doesn't have a factory backed team, doesn't mean they don't have to make a stock version. SCCA isn't NASCAR so not everything is going to be the same

#103, I like it because it's a factory built car made for racing

#112, while not the same I don't like neons or the styling of the SRT-4 but I like the fact that it's a car built with performance in mind

In terms of purpose-built factory cars, these weren't bad. Still, the way I look at it, it's an awful lot of money to spend for a Mustang, and I can only imagine wanting one if I needed it for some kind of club racing. Personally, if I had that kind of money to blow, I wouldn't trust Ford factory parts to get the job done; I'd just buy a CSR from Kenny Brown.

#81, *remains suspiciously quiet*

I don't like the taillamps, though.

#95, I'd rather wind up in that power/weight ratio class without resorting to forced induction, myself. :-)

#99, Like the ZL-1 Camaros were intended for public use, they only made 69 of them.... Or how about ZL-1 Vette's? Only 2 of them... Or Dodge Superstocks, or COPOs.
