#46, How do you figure they "went out of their way"? And yes, for what it is it's too high. |

#46, I don't think I'd desire, or pay to acquire, a hand-assembled car. If anything, I'd buy a kit car and do it myself. I have more than enough faith in the modern assembly line to trust a mass-production car |

#47, umm cause these weren't built on the line, they set space aside and put the 300 togather by hand, do you expect something like that to be cheap? |

#50, They didn't have to do it that way. Maybe they did that to try to justify the ridiculous price.

#51, I don't fear human mistakes, I just don't see why it's special to the point of increasing the cost so much. I've hand assembled engines before, they behave just the same as machine-built ones, as long as the parts are in the right place
#50 I know these are hand-assembled, what I was trying to say was that to me doesn't justify paying more, if I'm going to pay more, it better be a whole lot MORE performance and styling wise, not just hand assembled |

#53, ok they were using a crap load of custom parts, it would cost out the ass to set up a line just to make 300 cars |

Anyway, just like you guys argued against the NSX (and I agree) it's overhyped and costs too much for what it is. Don't put on the Ford blinders here. I'm not speaking as a Camaro fanboy (I like them a lot but I'm a realist - if that's a word), I'm speaking as a car enthusiast.
