Speechless. Seriously though, was this a convertible from the factory? I'm assuming NO since the Daytona was built to be a performance/race car.

i've read in a couple of muscle car books that mopar dealers would sometimes get daytona's and superbirds for showroom display only and promotional appearances and i bet this may be what this was.

Yea they never made a vert Daytona or SuperBird.
But vert Mopars arent extremely rare, remember the Le Baron's from the 80's? :-p

I want it...would have to modify the nosecone a bit to make it look more inline with the rest of the car, but still, I want it.

#14, i think your right.

the dodge decal on the front slopes down and i think the front tag says year one. they supply parts to a numerous different cars. i went to there showroom in atlanta last year to buy parts for my carand saw there show cars there but this car wasn't there!!

hate to say it, but this is a fake car. I have seen it before, and the owner took a slant 6 charger chopped the top and added the daytona front and rear.
