people say, they are the second gayest car beside miata. but i'd take a miata over del sol any day. atleast they are RWD.and best at something - gay.

saw a riced-out one with 2 teenage guys in it the other day. i wouldn't drive one of these but I'd drive a CRX

I'd drive a miata! I'd just accept that it's not for speed, it's for fun lightweight handling. It's only fun because it's super-light and RWD...CRX and Del Sol...psssh.

#12, I'd have no use for it, as far as I know no autocrosses here, only some moderatly twisty roads. There is however an 1/8th mile relitivly close and miatas in their standard form aren't drag racers.

#13, my friends dad has a supercharged Miata. that thing hauls ass supposedly.

#15, I think Jackson Racing makes an Eaton supercharger kit for the Miata. They claim it gives ~40% increase in torque through the whole RPM range with the level of boost they set it up to make.

#15, But something like a 5.0 mustang would be a much better strip car, bigger aftermarket, cheaper parts etc... While a 5.0 miata would be kinda cool I hate convertables and as such I'd rather have a RWD5.0 or 4.6 focus

I hate convertibles, but I think a Miata with boatloads of power would be fun to drive.
