Description:
my friend derick's 88. it runs 11.20's on 87 octane and drives it all the time. also ive heard real GT40's, real 427 cobras and this mustang has to be in my top ten of the best sounding cars ever. |

yeah the huge cowls on some cars just dont look that great

what is it exactly? it has a 93 Cobra grill and tailights and GT Body cladding and it says Saleen

I like it, even though the hood is in questionable good taste. What size engine merits that tall cowl, or is it just for show?

it also has Cobra R center caps on non-Cobra rims

#7, only way a small block would need it is if it was a carbed engine with a high rise or blower

this is what i do know ,its a 302 block, cobra intake (fi), alum. heads, headers, hot cam (dontknowlift), tremec t-56, alum. driveshaft, 8.8 rear. thats all i know, i dont really ask him much cuz im always asking him about his shelbys. he has two, a 69 gt500 drag car since factory, and a 70 gt350. he has too many mustangs to list right now but i will post some pics of his shelbys later.
oh, about the hood, yeah its kinda iffy but any car that runs 11's on the street can have any hood it wants ;)

And a few inches less hood, especially if a 302 with a Cobra intake is the only thing it needs to clear.
