#59, First and second gear are actually pretty low, and I think it could pull something if it had to. Not much, though, and the cooling system wouldn't like it. |

#66, You know, for $1100, you could have probably gotten the Capri running as well as getting your air, stereo, and heat working. Maybe even enough left over to fill in some of the more serious rust holes.
The car might not be worth what you put into it in the end, but you'd have no reason to get rid of it then, either. :) |

#73, *Continues torture*
I still stand by my suggestion of Cutlass Cieras, too...we're selling one up at the shop now for $1200, and it's got just over 85,000 miles on it. Granny fresh.
Of course, it does have big dents in each fender and a big one in the trunk lid...Granny got kind of senile and started backing into things so her kids are paying Tim to sell the car for her. But hey, what's a little body damage? |

Heh...kinda like Lemming's parents not letting him get anything older than '98.
When my parents bought my car, they wouldn't let me get anything too new. "Why would you want a '94 Mustang? There's a '77 Impala for sale in the paper with 50,000 miles on it for half the price." (just an example of their attitude towards it, I never actually looked at a '94 Mustang or a '77 Impala).
I wish I had taken more advantage of that. I could have been cruising in a '65 Falcon. :( |
