Not bad. Yeah, they started making convertibles again in '87 or '88, I think. I went to high school with a girl who had a rednecked-up '91 RS convertible.

They exsist, they're rare, (I think GM contracted an outside company to do the conversions) but neat lookin'

Interresting how the 2nd gens design made them the only F-body generation that coudln't be convertiblized, I've seen a couple attempts at it by independents, they suck

'87 was when they started back with the convertibles. They built 1,007 of them in 1987. I'm looking for figures on the rest of the years.

The production for the last 3rd gen Camaro convertibles was 3700. I doubt they topped those numbers in the years in between. So yeah, they're pretty rare.
