Granted, I could have been more specific with my wording, as I didnt mean everyone here loves Pro Street. I think this car will look good on 22's. Do I generally like 22's? no. I think that this specific car though, is gonna look bad ass. 17 is usually the magic numbers for older cars for me. I'm willing to make exceptions though. |

#20, huge rear tires, and insane power (most of the time from a blown big block) |

Dont forget 1inch wide tries in the front, only making the car good for going straight. Dont get these cars near a turn. |

#24, but seeing how they are just drag cars on the steet, they really don't need to turn. the only street use they are going to get is cruise nights. |

#31, there I agree. I'd rather see non-classic cars done up these days. I also I'm not a fan of most of the paint jobs that go along with Pro-Street.

Back when I was a kid, all there was was pretty much prostreet. I used to go to drag races n such, but after watching road races and actually driving my Cutlass on winding back roads n such, I finally realized that cars can be for more then the ΒΌ mile. I get a rush when driving spirited in my car, more then going fast could ever do. I'm thankful that Pro Touring has come along, its been a long time coming. You guys can do whatever you want to cars, but for me and my house, we are gonna stick with Pro Touring.:) |

going really fast in a very short time is fun
going fast around turns is fun
thus, build a car for both :-) |

How come crap like this always ends up in a pro-street vs real cars discussion? Might as well express my opinion: I hate pro street and love all around performance. All cars that I own in life that are built for performance will excel in everything but specialize in nothing. (i.e. no drag cars, drift cars, lightweight handling cars with no power) |

I hate Pro-Street in a fairly passionate way (I think I've stated this before), and I generally love Pro Touring so long as it is done right. In other words, slamming it and sticking dubs on it doesn't really work for me, but a well-executed 17 or 18-inch (on larger cars) setup with large disc brakes and some reasonably serious suspension/tire upgrades definitely works for me. Heck, I at least try to mess with my own car according to the same principle--lower it, stick a little bit more wheel on it, dump money into suspension and engine/drivetrain, and try to enhance performance all-around, WITHOUT ridiculous hood scoops, engines sticking up into plain sight, and skinny little front tires.
And classic vs. not classic, I don't care. Whatever it is, it had better be good for something besides looking ridiculous and going in a straight line.

#38, I noticed that your gross generalizations tend to start this shit. |
