#36, So you think I'm under the mindset of the "Bring back the camaro - RWD and V8!" bullshit?

Fuck you. If you bothered to look at the pdf file - the Century - Lasabre - Malibu/Maxx - GP - the Impala; they are certainly not sports cars and they are certainly not unobtainable.

For frig sake - stop thinking anyone pro-detroit thinks it's the 1960's!

#40, Lot's of Kool-aid.

Nevermind that Toyota has Prius recall recently - but that wonder dull this guy's mindset.
Rav4's - Tacoma - even the "perfect tC has had a recall. Partly because Toyota doesn't want to admit that the call stall's. No - it's the driver's fault - not ours.

Anyway, Mondeo ST220 is nice.
But...
Ford Focus ST170 (Focus SVT in the US) costed 95k PLN. Now, if you calculate the US Dollar and Polish Zloty currency, it becomes clear that Mustang GT in the US costs about the same as the Focus ST170 out here... I mean... a 170hp compact versus a 300hp sports car... Jesus.

#22, The '97-05 Century was chintzy. The Regal had a lot more content in the same basic vehicle, better suspension and power and generally wasn't a strippo piece of crap (and with the incentives GM had going at the time, we got some $5000 off on ours). That said, ours was a lemon for the first three years of ownership, went through 5 steering racks due to bad OEM tires and inept mechanics, and the engine seals and supercharger let go at 110k as the 3800 Series II is apparently prone to do. I talked to a guy with an '03 GTP who said his let go around 110k as well.
I can't speak for the Impala, having no experience with it, but the '04 Grand Prix I rode in was awful in every conceivable way.
