I love the "driven through a huge pool of barf" look.

I find it funny that someone would buy a car so heavily modified. There's nothing custom (which is why riceboys do it anyways) about a car that someone else made. So when you're cruisin at 25 mph through the Wal*Mart parking lot, body scraping, cut springs letting you feel every peanut shell you run over, fart pipe blaring, wanting attention, how can you feel GOOD knowing someone else made that car? It shows how ignorant people are. I want my car properly show my character and reveal my personality, not be the work of someone else that I would like to take credit for.

on the other hand..... all of 'their' taste in cars is pretty much the same, so why not swap crap for crap?

#5, I see what you mean, but if I were to demand attention in my car, I'd at least want it to be my work.

On a side note, my car is in no way riced out. Its basically stock with a wing, muffler, rims and tires, and I have NEVER seen an Eclipes that looks like mine. Ever. What's funny is, I still get alot of complements on it, and I still get alot of looks (although I don't demand them) What I'm getting at is, ricers want their cars to be UNIQUE and ATTENTION GETTERS. I have achieved that with my car, and I don't have a bunch of worthless shit piled on. It goes to show just how self-concious those dumbass riceboys are.

#4, Ricers are just attention whores. They watch stupid tuner movies full of pastel colored imports and half naked Asian women fawning over skinny dork drift racers and then they look outside and can't stand that they're Hondas and Toyotas are bone stock. They let the media tell them what's cool when it comes to cars, and that's the sure sign of a gutless tool...

#7, Which reminds me, I was reading a forum, and the new cool thing is FAKE carbon fiber. WTF? If any of my parts were carbon fiber, I would do it to save weight, and they would be painted prior to installation. A guy on a MUSTANG forum with a RiceStang was catching hell from other members because he wanted to coat his trunk in a large carbon fiber looking decal. He said "Nobody buys CF cuz it saved weight, they buy it cuz it looks cool" No sir, it doesn't.

#8, Basic rice mentality, "Screw performance, as long as it looks MaD TyT3 everyone'll think I'm cool!"

#10, I figure it's more of a put the pedal down and pray "Please, please, please go fast!" Situation than anything else, just because you can't bolt a fascia on, doesn't mean you know how to fix up an engine.

#11, Usually the mod list goes:

Blitz body kit
APC muffler
Streetglow neons
19" Racing Hart wheels
Aluminum racing wing
low profile Yokohama tires
Cold Air Intake
Spark plug wires

How lame is that? Honestly, with the money they spent, the only thing I would consider is the rims (smaller) and the tires (not low-pro). The CAI and wires are okay, but what's the point if you will have nothing else, seriously?

#12, I think deep down ricers are all serious cowards. Look at some of the hate mails, lots of these clowns claim there cars are for "show" just show only? They cruise around revving their motors and chasing each other around the main strip, but besides going fast they aren't doing anything really dangerous. It's all show no go for them, it's ridiculous!

#6, indeed. I have never seen an Eclipse that looks exactly like yours. You know why? Because you modified it how you wanted it, not how 50 billion screaming riceboys wanted it modified.

#13, Why make a CIVIC show car? If it were me, I'd take something that was nice to begin with, something either classic or just overall pretty. I know a guy that has a Corvette show car, he chromed every facetable piece of the engine, and wins shows. Other than that, he hasn't done much else. (except to the interior) It takes more money to make a Civic a show car than it would be to make a classic car or a newer sports car look nice and still win some awards. If you're just going to take ANYTHING and turn it into a show car, then get a $500 Metro, and bling the fuck out of it instead of a $6000 Civic.

#15, I refer back to my earlier statement, ricers pick lame slow cars to deck out for a reason, I think that subconsciously they must be scared of crashing or something so they pick a car known for it's lack of performance and slap some crap on it to show it off for approval from the rest of the flock. Or maybe they like the challenge of polishing a turd, who knows?

#16, Honestly, I have seen some very nicely done Civics. There's one on CarDomain that is turboed and very nice looking. It pisses me off that the Civic's resale value has increased so much in the past 5 or so years because of dumbass riceboys.

#17, Civics are good looking, highly reliable cars, I only referred to them as turds as reference to their blandness and the stupidity of people who ruin them with stupid exterior modifications. It is a pity these fall into the hands of dumbasses though.
